Oxygen - Colbie Caillat and Jason Reeves
Tabbed by Hannah Cursaro

Capo on the 8th fret!!

Intro:
G Cadd9 Dadd4/F# Cadd9 (I prefer to play the chords like this throughout the song,
sound a lot nicer than just the G, C, D etc.)

Verse 1:
G C D
I came apart inside a world
         C
Made of angry people
G C D
I found a boy who had a dream
        C
Making everyone smile
G C D
He was sunshine
   C G
I fell over
    C D C
My feet like bricks under water

C D C
And how am I supposed to tell you how I feel?
          D
I need oxygen

Chorus:
   G D
Oh baby, if I was your lady
                C
I will make you happy
     D
I'm never gonna leave, never gonna leave
   G D
Oh baby, I would be your lady
           C D
I am going crazy...for you

Verse 2:
G C D
And so I found a state of mind
         C
Where I could be speechless
G C D
I had to try it for a while
           C
To figure out this feelin'
G C D
This felt so right
     C G
Pull me upside
     C D C
Down to a place where you've been waiting

C D C
And how am I supposed to tell you how I feel?
          D
I need oxygen

Chorus:
   G D
Oh baby, if I was your lady
                C
I will make you happy
     D
I'm never gonna leave, never gonna leave
   G D
Oh baby, I would be your lady
           C D
I am going crazy...for you

Bridge:
    C D
And you don't wanna keep me waiting
               C
Staring at my fingers
                D
Feeling like a fool

Chorus: (First half of this chorus, just strum the chord once)
   G D
Oh baby, if I was your lady
                C
I will make you happy
     D
I'm never gonna leave, never gonna leave
   G D
Oh baby, I would be your lady
           C
I am going crazy
   D
Yeah oh oh oh oh

Outro:
G Am G Am
(Ohhhh... Oh Oh)
G
Tell me what you want baby,
Am
tell me what you need
G Am
Anything I ask, baby, give it to me
G Am G
Baby give it to me, give it to me
G Am G
I came apart inside a world
         Am
Made of angry people
G Am G
I found a boy who had a dream
          Am G
Making everyone smile...

Hope you like it :)
love Han xoxo

About the artist behind Oxygen:

Colbie Marie Caillat (pronounced /ˈkoʊlbi kəˈleɪ/ (info) "Kole-bee Kal-lei") (born May 28, 1985 in Newbury Park, California) is an American pop singer-songwriter and guitarist from Malibu, California. Her father, Ken Caillat, co-produced Fleetwood Mac's Rumours and Tusk albums; Caillat recalls being around the likes of Mick Fleetwood and John McVie as a child.[1]

The popularity of Caillat's MySpace profile led her to become the number-one unsigned singer in her genre for four months.[2] Her popularity on the social network was partially due to her song "Bubbly," and the songs on her profile have been played more than forty-two million times (as of May 31st, 2008).[3] For the week of July 17, 2007, "Bubbly" was featured on the iTunes Store as the free "Single of the Week". The promotion coincided with the release of Coco, her debut studio album. Caillat was also spotlighted by Rhapsody during the 2007 Black Friday Sale at Best Buy.

According to her MySpace profile, Caillat was first inspired to start singing at age eleven when she first heard the Fugees' 1996 version of the song "Killing Me Softly", made famous by Roberta Flack in 1973. Her MySpace profile also states that, though trained at piano from an early age, Caillat did not begin playing guitar until age nineteen.

In May 2008, Caillat recorded a duet with Jason Mraz, called "Lucky," on his album, We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things.[4] The same month, Caillat recorded a cover of the song "Kiss the Girl" from The Little Mermaid for Disney's DisneyMania vol. 6 CD.[5]

Caillat is currently shooting another music video in Hawaii for her song "The Little Things."[6]
