Prechorus
Same chords but different text:

They marched you in a uniform
You wore against your will.
With lies of hope and glory,
They taught you how to kill.

Chorus

Bridge (without guitar, guitar starts in with the F powerchord. The F,G and the first
bar of A are palm muted, the last one

not.)

Bb
After the war,

Bb Dm Dm
You thought you'd be a hero.

Bb Bb Dm Dm
After all that you survived.

Bb Bb Dm Dm
If hell was meant for heroes,

Then you'd surely have arrived.

Guitar solo
Slow it down(e.g. with SlowMp3) to get the timing!

The hammer ons noted here are played faster!! (This is just how I try to play it)

E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Use whammy bar on the last note! and don't play it on the high e string. He plays that d
but as a pinch harmonic. You could try to get it on the D string between the eight and ninth
or between the second and third fret or on the G string right above the third fret.

e|----------------------------------5------6-----10--12--10--9--10--12-------|
B|-------------------------5--6--8------------8------------------------------|
G|-------------------5--7----------------------------------------------------|
D|----------5--7--8----------------------------------------------------------|
A|-5--7--8-------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Alternative fingering for this passage:

e|----------------------------------------------------12----------12---------|
B|-------------------------------------------------15----15-14-15------------|
G|----------------------------10-12-14----15-14-12---------------------------|
D|-------------------10-12-14------------------------------------------------|
A|----------10-12-13---------------------------------------------------------|
E|-10-12-13------------------------------------------------------------------|

e|-15--13--12--18--17--15--20--18--17--20b22---------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
If you can do fast picking on those last notes.

Hold the last bend, then play a bit with pinch harmonics on the fifth fret on the
D string and then on the G string (and use whammy bar of course).

Then it goes back to the chorus (which is slightly changed):

e|------------------------|-------------|
B|------------------------|-------------|
G|------------------------|-------------|
D|------------------------|-------------|
A|-5--5--5--5--5--5--5--5-|-7-----------|

Guitar 1(rythm)
I'm not sure about the end as it is "hidden" behind the singing. e3 = eighth triplet

   w e e e e e e q e e e e e e e e e3 e3 e3 e3 e3 e3 q q

Guitar 2(solo)

e|-(22)b25-b24-22-|--(22)b25--b24--22---|-b24--22--20------|-22--------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Then there is that small rythm part. I couldn't figure out what to play over that.
It ends with one guitar playing a D powerchord and a second doing something like a
D minor arpeggio in the 10 fret.
