This is my version,
not accurate, but hey.

Intro is 8 measures...... Here is my format for each measure (see the tab for each
for below) : ABAA / ABAC

( Measure A )
--------har12-----------------------|
b-------har12-----------------------|
f#----0-------0----0-------0h9v-p7--|
e----0---------0------0h7-----------|
b---------------------------===-----|
E---0-----------5-------------------|
Note: Hammer the 7th fret with the index, and the 9th fret with
the ring finger. At the same time you hammer the 9th fret,
hammer the index finger on the 7th fret right below so you can
go into the pull-off. You can pluck the pull of too instead if you want.

Measure B (slgithly different, look for the subtleties)

--------har12---------------------|
b-------har12------0------0h9v-p7-|
f#----0-------0-------------------|
e----0---------0------0h7---------|
b---------------------------===---|
E---0-----------5-----------------|

Measure C

--------har12----------------------0--|
b-------har12-------------------------|
f#----0-------0----0-------0h9--9-----|
e----0---------0------0h7-------------|
b-------------------------------------|
E---0-----------5---------------------|
Also, on this measure above, he holds the hammer on the 7th fret
down while he finishes the measure to let that string resonate.
He plays this measure alot throughout the song, and he sometimes
strums through the last part.

====Verse=====( " I don't think I'm gonna go to LA anymore.... )

Measure Pattern : DCDC (new measure D is right below )

Measure D

--------har12------------------------|
b-------har12-----(0(0)(0)-----------|
f#----0-------0----0-0--0------------|
e----0---------0---0-0--0------------|
b------------------------------------|
E---0--------------5-5--5------------|

Sometimes, instead of playing the D pattern and strumming the
5x00xx chord, you can strum through the hammer-ons like in the
Measure C format. He does that more later on... Although its
really arbitrary, you can strum it however you like and what
sounds good. He always plays the D pattern like shown above
right before he goes into the chorus.

Also, at the start of the measure, instead of just hitting
the bottom string at the downbeat of the measure, you can
sometime hit the bottom 3 or 4 strings to give a fuller sound,
and go straight to the harmonics without plucking those strings
on the way up, like this::

--------har12--------|
b-------har12--------|
f#-(0)----------0----|
e---0----------------|
b---0----------------|
E---0--------------5-|

"I don't know what its like to land and not race to your door..."
e----0---0---0--- ---0---0---|
b----0---0---0--- ---0---0---|
f#--10---9---3--- ---5---7---|
e----9---7---2--- ---5---7---|
b----x---x---x--- ---x---x---|
e----9---7---2--- ---5---7---|

Later, on "Ten and the two is the loneliest sight..." play this:

e----0---0---|
b----0---0---|
f#---7---9---|
e----5---7---|
b----x---x---|
e----5---7---|

====Bridge 1====

--------har12----------5-5-5*-5-5-5-------4----4-----------------------------|
b-------har12------0---7-7-7--7-7-7-------5----5----0-0-0-0-0-0-----0-0-0----|
f#-(0)----------0--0-------0------------------------5-7-7-7-7-7-----5-5-5----|
e---0--------------0--------------------------------5-5-5-5-5-5-----4-4-4----|
b---0---------------------------------(0)(0)(0)------------------------------|
E---0--------------5-------------------0--0--0----5-5-5-5-5-5-5--0--0-0-0----|
*accent here

(second half, little different
---------5-5-5-5-5-5-------4----4------0---------------------|
b----0---7-7-7-7-7-7-------5----5---------0---0-0---0-0-0----|
f#---0-------0----------------------------0---0-0h7-7-7-7----|
e----0--------------------------------0---0h5-5-5---5-5-5----|
b----------------------(0)(0)(0)-----------------------------|
E----5------------------0--0--0-----5-----5---5-5---5-5-5----|
(that last part of the measure, strum through those hammer ons)

===Chorus===

Most tabs have this next part right, but one of the chords is different. See if you can
it.

"I'm gonna steer clear"
e---0---0---0----------|
b---0---0---0----------|
f#--3--10---9----------|
e---2---9---7----------| (X3)
b---x---x---x----------|
e---2---9---7----------|

"Cause I die if I saw you... "
e--=0----0---0-------------------0--0---|
b---0----0---0---0--0---0--0-----0--0---|
f#--5---10---9---5--7---5--7-----7--9---|
e---4----9---7---4--5---4--5-----5--7---|
b---x----x---x---x--x---x--x-----x--x---|
e---4----9---7---5--5---5--5-----5--7---|

====Bridge 2 =====

e---------------------------------------x--x-x----x-x---|
b---5--7--9---12--10--x---5-----------4h5--4-4--4h5-5---|
f#--x--x--x----x---x--x---x-------------x--x-x----x-x---|
e---0--0--0----0---0--0---0---(x3)------0--0-0----0-0---|
b---0--0--0----x---x--0---x-------------x--x-x----x-x---|
e---0--0--0---10---9--x---5-------------x--x-x----x-x---|

====Last verse=== "Think I'm gonna stay... gonna stay...
e-------------|
b-----0----0--|
f#----5----7--|
e-----4----5--| (X alot)
b-----x----x--|
E-----5----5--|

This is the last measure before he goes into the emo outro.
e--------------|
b-------5---0--|
f#----5-5---7--|
e-----4-4---5--|
b-----x-x---5--|
E-----5-5---5--|

===Outro==== "Wherever I go... "
e-----------------------------|
b------4--4--4--4-------------|
f#-----5--5--5--5-------------|
e------2--2--2--2-------------|
b------0--x--4--x-------------|
E---------4-----0-------------|
For the first four bar measured, the last chord on the sequence is played 04x54x instead
the one above.
The rest of the time he plays it, it's as shown above.

However, this is the last chord of the song

e-------|
b---0---|
f#--0---|
e---0---|
b-------|
e---0---|

Peace
-Jon Michael

About the artist behind In Your Atmosphere Live Tab:

John Clayton Mayer (surname pronunciation: /ˈmeɪ.jɜr/[1]) (born October 16, 1977) is an American singer-songwriter. Originally from Connecticut, he attended Berklee College of Music before moving to Atlanta, Georgia, in 1998, where he refined his skills and gained a following. His first two studio albums, Room for Squares and Heavier Things, did well commercially, achieving multi-platinum status. In 2003, he won a Best Male Pop Vocal Performance Grammy for "Your Body Is a Wonderland".

Mayer began his career performing mainly acoustic rock and pop, but gradually began a transition towards the blues genre in 2005 by collaborating with renowned blues artists such as B. B. King and Eric Clapton, and by forming the John Mayer Trio. The blues influence can be heard on his album Continuum, released in September 2006. At the 49th Annual Grammy Awards in 2007 Mayer won Best Pop Vocal Album for Continuum and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for "Waiting on the World to Change". Mayer's career pursuits have extended to stand-up comedy, design, and writing; he has written pieces for magazines, most notably for Esquire. He is also involved in philanthropic activities through his "Back to You" fund and his concern over global warming.
