what type of guitar should i get to be my first guitar. i dont have any money to buy one but come this summer i gonna work hard to see if come up with enough money to buy a guitar

First of all what type of music do you play or want to play? Secondly are you asking what type or what brand?

uh.. a brand because there is way better quality guitars than the ones ive seen. but i think im going to be going both ways acuostic and electric.

Well let's see.. If you go with Fender electrics you can't go wrong because they are versitile for any genre of music and they can be upgraded pretty easily for little money. Then again the Epiphone line of of electrics are really good also. Both brands are pretty affordable starting at around $400 and the Fender Squire is even cheaper and still is a pretty good begginer level guitar. The most important things are the materials they are made of and playability because the electronics can always be replaced later on. I would find what feels the best in my price range and go with it until i could justify spending more on one. I'm sure there are more brands to be seen but these are some of the best bang for buck guitars there is including Ibanez they all have good acoustics as well. alright kool . ill definatley look into that . as soon as i find a job or somthing ill get that guitar

You should go for a fender. I also prefer ibanez. you can get some good ibanez in only 270$ like rg2ex1.

i would go for the acustic because of the great sound it maks when u play it. Plus the acustics are so much cheeper then the electric like say one electric guitar is $1567 and a acustic is like $199. cya
