As Blood Runs Black is an American deathcore band from Los Angeles, California formed in 2004 by original members Bijon Roybal, Richard Reyes, Louie Ruvalcaba, Kyle Hasenstaab, and Leche. They are currently signed to Mediaskare Records and their debut album Allegiance achieved considerable success making the band a well-known act. Their influences range from melodic death metal to hardcore. During 2007's The Summer Slaughter Tour, drummer Leche, who now manages the band Fallen Figure and is a replacement drummer for Through the Eyes of the Dead, was kicked out of the band due to personal differences with the other members. So they had Ryan Thomas, formerly of the band The Serpent Son fill in. Ryan left after a couple tours and now Scott Walker mans the drums for them now. They recently finished the Brutalitour 2007 along with Beneath The Massacre, Animosity, and The Faceless. They are recently finished the Farewell to Allegiance tour along with Walls of Jericho and Born of Osiris. They are currently on tour on the "Metal For the Masses" National Tour headlining with Winds of Plague and Stick To Your Guns.
