Seasons Of The Heart Chords
Seasons of the Heart (JOHN DENVER)
(PNL tabs)
I. C F C F
C
Of course we have our differences
    F
You shouldn't be surprised
        G
It's as natural as changes
       C
In the seasons and the skies
C
Sometimes we grow together
    F
Sometimes we drift apart
  G
A wiser man than I might know
    C
The seasons of the heart

II.
        C
And I'm walking here beside you
       F
In the early evening chill
  G
A thing we've always loved to do
  C
I know we always will
   C
We have so much in common
   F
So many things we share
     G
That I can't believe my heart
          C
When it implies that you're not there

CHORUS:
F G C
Love is why I came here in the first place
F G C
Love is now the reason I must go
F G C7
Love is all I ever hoped to find here
F G C -F C F
Love is still the only dream I know

C
So I don't know how to tell you
     F
It's difficult to say
  G
I never in my wildest dreams
 C
Imagined it this way
        C
But sometimes I just don't know you
          F
There's a stranger in our home
         G
When I'm lying right beside you
   C
Is when I'm most alone

same pattern as II:
And I think my heart is broken
There's an emptiness inside
So many things I've longed for
Have so often been denied
Still I wouldn't try to change you
There's no one that's to blame
It's just some things that mean so much
And we just don't feel the same

Love is why I came here in the first place
Love is now the reason I must go
Love is all I ever hoped to find here
Love is still the only dream I know
True love is still the only dream I know -END

About the artist behind Seasons Of The Heart Chords:

John Denver (December 31, 1943 – October 12, 1997), born Henry John Deutschendorf, Jr., was an American Country Music/folk singer-songwriter and folk rock musician who was one of the most popular artists of the 1970s. He recorded and released some 300 songs, about half of which he had composed, and was named Poet Laureate of Colorado in 1977.

Denver's songs were suffused with a deep and abiding love of the natural world. Songs such as "Take Me Home, Country Roads" (1971), "Leaving on a Jet Plane", "Calypso" (1975), "Thank God I'm a Country Boy", and "Rocky Mountain High" (1973) are popular worldwide. Denver has been referred to as "The Poet For the Planet", "Mother Nature's Son" (based on The Beatles song he covered) and "A Song's Best Friend".
